A Research-based Peacebuilding Curriculum.

The Peacebuilding Institute benefits from Never Again Rwanda’s Research Unit expertise to nourish its unique and research-based courses’ curriculum.

The findings of the independent and private research conducted by Never Again Rwanda are extensively considered as we strongly believe they broaden understanding of underlying factors and root causes that hinder peaceful coexistence in the Rwandan society but also in the Great Lakes Region, and even abroad.

Methodology

Participatory Action Research

In all its research projects, Never Again Rwanda uses a participatory action research methodology that calls for greater involvement of research participants, at all the stages of the process. Paying extra attention to the opinion voiced by the people that are being affected by social phenomena brings a lot of sensibility and nuances to the research findings. It also often resonates deeply with PBI workshop participants’ experience, generating compassion and strong humanity belonging. Learn more…
